Electra-fying
Carmen Electra and the Naked Women’s Wrestling League are embroiled in a bitter contract dispute in which Electra accuses the NWWL, several production companies and more than 100 individuals of stiffing her to the tune of $300,000 in personal-appearance fees. Of particular interest (to us, anyway) is that Electra’s lawsuit, filed Nov. 7 in Los Angeles, accuses the production companies and their officers of looting the primary contract entity so it couldn’t pay her. There’s also the allegation that Electra “is an extremely well-known and immensely popular actress, model and spokesperson.” We’ll give her “extremely well-known and immensely popular,” but “actress” may be stretching the envelope just a tad. (Frankly, with a rack like that, who cares whether she can act?)
The lawsuit also reveals Electra’s birth name: Tara Patrick. Is that a delicious irony, or what?
